Dr. Ching Dai is a Chartered Senior Principal Geotechnical engineer at Coffey. He has more than 35 years professional experience specializing in geotechnical and tunneling design. He has obtained: • 1978 - 1981, Bachelor of Engineering (Mining/Geotech), Kunming Polytechnic University, China • 1982 - 1984, Master of Engineering (Geomechanics), Kunming Polytechnic University, China • 1985 – 1987, PhD. Geomechanics, Beijing University of Science and Technology, China 1987 to 1990, Ching was a lecturer at Beijing University of Science and Technology, China 1990 to 1993, Ching worked at QLD university and CSIRO 1993 to date, as a consultant, Ching has worked with various geotechnical and multi-disciplinary companies in the Australia and New Zealand geotechnical industry.
