Drew Coulthard is a geospatial and monitoring specialist with over 20 years of experience across Australia and the UK in instrumentation, tunnelling, mining, and infrastructure projects. He has been instrumental in advancing survey methodologies and automated monitoring solutions for critical infrastructure. On Crossrail – Western Section, he managed instrumentation and monitoring contractors, stakeholder relationships, and damage claims and assessments, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation on one of Europe’s largest infrastructure projects. Since returning to Australia, he has worked on monitoring for large infrastructure projects, implementing automated monitoring systems that enhance safety, efficiency, and decision-making. Drew is passionate about geospatial innovation, risk management, and the integration of surveying, engineering, and digital transformation in the built environment.
