Harry Asche has over 40 years experience as a Civil Engineer with a specialisation in Tunnelling. Harry has a BE(Civil) from the University of Melbourne and a PhD from the University of Queensland. He is currently an Adjunct Professor in the School of Civil Engineering at the University of Queensland. He was awarded EA's Queensland Engineer of the Year in 2018. Recently, Harry has held leading positions for the detailed design of the Western Harbour Tunnel in Sydney, the WestGate Tunnel Project in Melbourne, the WestConnex M8 tunnel in Sydney and he is now the power waterway tunnel leader for the Borumba Pumped Hydro Scheme.
