With over 11 years of diverse engineering experience, Javier is a geotechnical engineer who has participate in several geotechnical projects in Chile and Australia. He graduated with honours in Civil Engineering from the Universidad de Chile in 2013 and got a postgraduate degree in Geotechnical Engineering at the Universidad Católica de Chile in 2023. Javier's career includes supervisor for METRO tunnels in soft soil, and design tunnels, shafts and caverns in hard rock. Currently, Javier is the design leader for the surge shaft excavation in Snowy 2.0 project in Australia.
