Lorenzo is a Principal Geotechnical Engineer with over 23 years’ experience in Geotechnical Engineering with a specific focus on Tunnelling and Civil Underground Works design. He has worked mainly overseas, largely in Australia, and Singapore as well as Algeria, India, Qatar and Mexico in projects involving design of foundations, earth retaining systems, cut-and-cover structures for roads, railways and metro lines; railway embankment and cuttings, seismic design of geotechnical structures, prediction of damage to buildings due to underground excavation, tunnel lining design and selection of TBM, dewatering systems, ground improvement techniques and slope stability in soil and rock.
