Michael Salcher is Gamuda’s Geotechnical Lead in Australia. He is currently working on the Sydney Metro West - WTP project. Prior to joining Gamuda, Michael was a geotechnical engineer at PSM for 12 years, followed by a stint at CPB Contractors. Michael has been involved in the design and construction of tunnelling and underground mining projects in Australia and south-east Asia. He has worked on drill and blast, roadheader and TBM tunnels including the Northparkes and Olympic Dam underground mines and the caverns and tunnels of various Sydney Metro projects, as well as multiple underground motorways in Sydney, including Westconnex M4 East and Rozelle Interchange.
