Tom is a Tunnel Engineer with (a little shy of) 15 years of experience in underground space. Tom started his career as a design consultant in the mining industry before moving to Sydney in 2015 to start a 10-year career with Acciona (formerly Lendlease) in the tunnelling industry working on Northconnex, Westconnex M8 and Sydney Metro West (CPT). Tom has a PhD from the University of Queensland and has research interests in the economics of uncertainty in design and construction.
