Professional Bio
Tony is an experienced Principal Geotechnical Engineer with over 30 years’ experience in managing the geotechnical design delivery on major multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects. He is the technical leader of the Jacobs geotechnical team in Western Australia and is the Geotechnical Lead for the Alkimos Seawater Desalination Plant. Tony has significant experience in working with contractors in a Design and Build and Alliancing environment and working with both private and public sector clients covering a broad range of urban development, building engineering, transport infrastructure, maritime developments and mining and energy projects at various stages of the project cycle. Tony’s background and specific capabilities in the field of Geotechnical Engineering includes desk studies, the design, management and interpretation of geotechnical investigations, the analysis, design, documentation and construction supervision. Tony's areas of interest in geotechnics include designing and managing onshore and nearshore geotechnical investigations, geotechnical interpretation, heavy foundation design and design of ground retention schemes for deep excavations.
