Albert joined SMEC as a part-time graduate engineer in July 2018, while he was a master student in Monash University. He has obtained competent knowledge of rock mechanics during his bachelor’s degree of Mining Engineering, and further developed an interest in underground infrastructures while completing his Final Year’s Project under the supervision from Prof. Jian Zhao. He continued study in Monash University as a Master by Research student under the supervision from Dr. Qianbing Zhang, and developed skill sets of 3D numerical modelling. He worked as a Tunnel Engineer for Geotech & Tunnelling Team of SMEC Melbourne office, and currently on a full-time secondment role at Snowy 2.0 project.
