Li Jianbin, born in Zhao County, Hebei Province, graduated from Jilin University of Technology with a bachelor's degree. He is a professor level senior engineer and a registered first-class construction engineer. He enjoys the "Government Special Allowance" from the State Council and serves as the Chief Scientist of the National Key Basic Research and Development Program (973 Program). He has successively presided over or participated in the construction of Dayao Mountains Tunnel of Beijing Guangzhou Railway, Wuhan Yangtze River Tunnel and other national key projects, and is the pioneer of shield industrialization of China Railway Engineering Corporation. In academic research, he has published more than 20 papers, including "Development Example of Shield Tunneling Machine cutterhead", in professional journals such as "Tunnel Construction". Li Jianbin led the team to break through key technologies in shield tunneling research and development, and multiple scientific research achievements won the first prize of Henan Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award and the first prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award. His research focuses on the field of shield tunneling and excavation technology, playing a key role in the breakthrough of domestic shield tunneling technology.
